Data, Sources & Privacy

How this BestMYSG service works · updated 2 November 2026

What Pulse shows

Pulse brings independently published map feeds into one view. A point marked on a map may be a live observation, a forecast, an estimate or a curated reference location. Feed availability and update intervals differ. Check the source and time shown before acting on any reading.

Malaysia and Singapore data

MY–SG Live uses public, keyless sources: Malaysia weather, fuel and transport positions; Singapore traffic snapshots, HDB parking availability, NEA radar and lightning observations, PUB flood alert events and NEA dengue boundaries; ASMC regional haze charts; and indicative exchange rates. Server caching and shared requests reduce upstream load. The source time is distinct from the time Pulse checked a feed. Missing readings are shown as unavailable.

Your device

Map appearance, saved places, areas you draw and optional AI settings may be saved in your browser. Saved regional places stay on this device, without a Pulse account. Pulse opens on the Malaysia–Singapore region. If you explicitly turn on location, the browser shares your location with this site so the map can centre and route. You can deny or revoke permission in your browser settings.

Optional AI and external services

The OI assistant asks for your own model provider key. Its requests pass through this application to the provider you select. Model usage may incur charges from that provider. Camera streams, map tiles, news, satellite and other sources may also be requested from external services under their own terms.

Hosting

BestMYSG Pulse runs on Hostinger. Standard website access and security logs may be processed by the hosting platform. Pulse does not require a user account.

Primary sources

BestMYSG Pulse is an independent adaptation of OSIRIS. Upstream data and third-party services retain their own licences and conditions.
